Viva Cuba Beísbol
A photographic project
Baseball is one of my greatest loves!
I am blessed that for several years, I was the only American photographer allowed on the field to photograph the Cuban national teams. What an honor!
The concept of "Viva Cuba Beísbol" is to photograph all things related to Cuban baseball.
An exhibit of my work was featured in Cooperstown at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2009! WOW!!!
I have continued the project by setting out to photograph all of the current Cuban born players who are now in the majors.
As you will see, I had the opportunity to see some play in Cuba before they we big leaguers, including: Jose Iglesias, Leonys Martin and Yulieski Gourriel.
Long live "beisbol Cubano"! Play Ball!
